GRBIC
Zeljko (Dido), age 69, passed away peacefully at his home in Old Tappan, NJ on July 16, 2014 surrounded by his loving family at his side.
Zeljko was a devoted husband, son, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He was survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Tereza, three sons Stanko and wife Tina, Anthony and wife Rebecca and Mark and wife Dena, five grandchildren Joseph, Juliana, Tillie, Luke and Ella, brother Stipe and wife Bruna. He is also survived by his remaining siblings and extended family in Croatia where he has always been in their prayers.
Zeljko was born in 1944 in Croatia from a large family and immigrated to New Jersey in 1970 along with his brother Stipe. Zeljko spent most of his working years as an outstanding chef, always cooking up something for the family. He was known as being a hard worker and family man; Always hosting gatherings at his home all year long, never short of tremendous homemade meals with everyone helping.
After retirement, Zeljko could never spend enough time with his grandchildren at his home, becoming a full time grandfather, teaching them to swim or giving them tractor rides. Zeljko was a great man who taught everyone around him about family values. He will forever be in our prayers and missed by all.
Visitation will be held at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ on Saturday, July 19th from 5-9 PM. Zeljko will be laid to rest in his birthplace of Privlaka, Croatia.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Zeljko Grbic to the Cholangiocarcinoma Fund at Cholangiocarcinoma.org.

I only learned yesterday of 'Jack's' passing. Although I didn't know him well, he always had a smile when I would see him as I was out walking. Teresa, my sympathy goes out to you and your family. I will certainly miss seeing him out working around in the yard. Sincere condolences.
