Joan and Family
We were saddened to hear of Nicks passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
You were a kind, loving uncle who was always interested in what we were doing. There are so many fond memories shared sailing in Maine, gathering with all the family for the holidays and spending time up at your Maine house or down on the CT shore. You will be missed and will always be in all of our memories. Please look over us and we love you very much.
Uncle Nick, I'm saddened to hear of your passing but happy to hear you're not in pain anymore. Watch over us. I'm glad I got to spend Christmas with you and cook out this summer. Look over the family and keep us safe. Love, Zack

Dear Joan and the Caristo family,
Our sympathies are with you and the family on Nick's passing. Cathy, Nathan, Andrew, Brian and I have many fond memories over the years. Nick was always kind, empathetic and listened with interest to the concerns of others. We remember great times during our visits to Maine: sailing in Boothbay Harbor, lobster dinners and the personal tour he proudly gave us of his works at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Nick and Joan were always great hosts and a fun time was guaranteed during visits.
We admired Nick's courage as he fought this illness without complaint. We will miss him and we hope that the good memories bring you peace in your pain.
Dianne and family, My heartfelt condolences to you. I know watching a loved one suffer is so very hard to do. I know how peaceful you all must be now that he is at peace. I am sure you all have many beautiful memories that will sustain and leave you all at peace.
Dianne-I'm sorry to see that your brother has past away.God bless you and your family-Love Michael
