Kevin P. Mazzarella DIED - Mar. 4, 2015 PUTNAM - Kevin P. Mazzarella age 51, sadly passed away Wed., March 4, 2015 at the UMass Medical Center-University Campus, Worcester, MA, from complications of Acute Myelogenous Leukemia that he fought for 3 years with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Celestia "Julie" K. (Berry) Mazzarella, they were united in marriage on May 17, 1986 by Fr. Rene Parent at Our Lady of Peace Church, E. Killingly. He was the son of Evelyn L. (Gaudreau) Mazzarella of Dayville, and the late Florian P. Mazzarella Jr.
He also leaves, a sister Karen Loiselle of Brooklyn, CT, his father in law, Lyndall Berry of Florence SC, many aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and cousins. He also leaves his fur babies, Cita and Charlie. He was born in Putnam, graduated from Killingly High School in 1981, and from Harvard H. Ellis Technical School in 1983. He worked at Hale Mfg. From 1983-1989 and held various positions until they closed in Oct. of 1989. He then went to work in the Sales Field where he worked holding several positions until Oct. of 2010, when he left the corporate world to open our business, K and J Tile and Hard Surface Cleaning, LLC, which we had to close due to health issues. He also worked for the Town of Putnam Board of Education, driving school bus, a position he enjoyed very much. There are no calling hrs. Donations may be made in his memory to UMMF-Trial, UMA Medicine Development Office, 333 South St., Shrewsbury, MA 01545, or The American Cancer Soc. Hope Lodge, 7 Oak St., Worcester, MA, 01604 or Animal Rescue. Sincere thanks to all the care givers , especially the staff of the UMASS Hosp, University Campus, Worcester. Julie, Karen and family: This news was such a jolt. I had no idea that he was so sick. He was such a strong man, a kind and loving soul. He loved people, animals and life to their fullest.
