So long old friend, but not old enough. Always wanted to go on a pinball machine retrieval, loved your machines every time we were over. There's a gal here missing you terribly so we have some mourning to do with her. Many many memories. You were one of the good ones Ray. You will be greatly missed.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

I went to school with Raymond in Mt. Jackson. He was a lot of fun to be around, The Good they die young.

I was shocked & saddened to hear of Ray's passing. I only met Ray a couple of years ago through jukeboxes. He was a kind man and took pride in his wife, family, home, and his hobby. He like saving & restoring machines for the future. We talked & helped each other with sources for parts. At his home, he had shown me his impressive collections, and often texted photos of his latest restoration. Through our conversations I learned of his Christmas display in the woods, their new home in Florida, and family plans. Sometimes, I will read an obituary of someone I didn't know, and feel like I missed knowing a great person. In this case I did get to briefly know Ray Rudy. He will be Missed.
Deepest Sympathy to his Wife & Family.

Long before Stephen King wrote "Stand By Me", Raymond and I lived it in the Shenandoah Valley. He was the best childhood friend a boy could ask for. I pray my children, grandchildren and everyone has a buddy like you.

Ray was a devoted husband, loving father and a very special friend. Everyone who knew Ray loved his warm smile, sence of humor and love of life. Ray had a true gift when it came to restoring old jukebox's and pinball machines. Many of his friends have these restored jukebox's in their home and enjoy their classic sound. Ray took great pride sharing his beautiful Christmas display in his tacky woods. This was his Christmas present to all of his friends and family. We will truly miss this amazing man. Rest In Peace Ray. We all love you.

Ray was a kind and gentle man whom we admired. He always had a smile on his face and looked at the positive side of life. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I can only express my deepest sympathy to his family. Thankfully, Ray is a family member to a lot of his X36 brothers in the Shipyard. I was lucky to be a part of the brotherhood we shared. God bless and peace to you my brother.

Dawn, Aimee, Stan, Brianna, Jessie and family, We are so very sorry for the sudden loss of such an amazing and important man. The strength and determination you have comes straight from him. We know that he is and will always be proud of each of you. We love you and are praying for you.
