We LOVED Fred Zimmerman. I wish he had lived closer in his later years. My sisters and I considered him an honoree grandfather. We spent many good times as kids at his house swimming in his pool or riding in his fancy cars. As an adult, I sometimes went on "dates" with Fred. He took me to the officers Club one evening and demonstrated how a true gentleman acts towards a young lady. :))) Fred was a someone to look up to, a strong man of God. I look forward to seeing him in heaven. I bet he will pick us up in a convertible when we get there!!!

Fred helped us out with Vacation Bible School a few summers. My favorite of him was wearing a pirates outfit with a parrot on his shoulder. He'd give the kids rewards for saying their memory verse to him. God bless him and keep him in your care.
