Dear Howard. You may not remember me but I think you will remember my parents, Douglas and Charlotte Gullifer from St. Louis Park Ev. Free Church. I'm their daughter, Margaret. I saw Marian Engstrom's name in our church bulletin. I wanted to find out if it was the Marian that I knew. I searched the obits from Illinois (because that was my last recollection of where you were. My hunch was right, as soon as I saw her picture I recognized that beautiful smile. Altho it has been decades since you and Marian attended Park Free, I will remember the impact you both had on us young people. As a couple you were so energetic and passionate about the Lord. I go to New Hope church and evidently so does Marian's brother Don. I have not had the pleasure of meeting him yet. My mom and dad passed away three months apart back in 2007. I want to extend my sympathies to you, Howard and your family. There will be a great big hole in your lives now, but I know you will trust your Lord and Savior to give you comfort. May God Bless you. Sincerely, Margaret Gullifer Lindborg
Howard, we will miss your dear wife whenever I think about both of you. May she rest in peace.

Marian was a blessing to all who knew her. I was privileged to fellowship with her at the Crystal Lake EV-free. I thank God for her, and praise God that her faith is now sight.
Marion IS/was a wonderful Christian wife, mom,
and friend! She was always ready to learn something new and faith filled! Her coronation day has arrived! She is with The Lord! Glory be to the Father and to the Son! Our family rejoices and grieves simultaneously! Much love to the Engstrom and Sommervile family,

Marian was a wonderful Christian friend to Pam and me. Years ago she gave me a book on prayer and that prayer desire summs up her life.
Dear Howard, Greetings from Jim and Pearl Glauser in Bethany Beach. We have been truly blest thru the years because of your friendship.
Thankful for her bright smile, warm heart and life-love for our Lord. Because of her, I entertain with a little more detail! xokimyost
