Mary was a bright light and a joy to know. She lives in the many memories that I have from our time together at U of Chicago. My heartfelt condolences to Jim, Bridget, and all her family.

Mary was an amazing sister. She was always the leader and embraced life. She quickly mastered anything that interested her from books, family history, knitting, rug weaving, photography, hard core cycling, jewelry, shopping, travel. She was smart, funny and graceful. I still laugh about our fun trips together in Mexico and Canada. We will miss you Mary!!

Mary and I were together for 35 years, and, along with dear Bridget, we made a family. I cannot imagine my life without both of them. I don't know the future, but my memories of my sweetheart will, I hope, sustain me.
