Deepest condolences to the Blackburn family. I was my pleasure to have pitched with and against Dave and his Dad in the late 70's. They sure brought the heat. Class act. RIP Dave.

Deepest sympathy to the Blackburn family.
Remember both David and Bootsie always laughing and just being great guys. Always enjoyed watching them play ball.

Dave is up there with Ernie and he(Ernie) is still trying to teach him some pitching tricks. Charlotte is sitting on a bleacher and now able to watch once again. A loss to softball and a loss to all of us who knew him.Godspeed, my friend, and one day I will be up there and ready to catch for you. Sympathy to all your family.

To the Blackburn family, my deepest sympathies on the loss of Dave. I remember him from our grade school and high school years, and little league baseball. We talked on FB awhile back, it was just like yesterday when we passed in the hallways of WJHS and TFN. Miss both him and Boots. May they both RIP.
