PAULINE GERTRUDE FARKAS (NEE BOK) GARY, IN Pauline Gertrude Farkas (nee Bok) of Gary (Calumet Township) born March 3, 1929 and passed away September 7, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Robert W. Farkas Sr. who preceded her in death on August 24, 2001. Pauline is survived by five sons: Robert (Susan) Farkas, Larry (Daphne) Farkas, Thomas Farkas, James (Candy) Farkas and Kenneth (Sharon) Farkas; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one brother, Lowell Bok; three sisters: Marilyn Edwards, Doris Rae Alstaetter and LaVonne Boose; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Hiram Bok; sisters: Jeanine Suever and Margaret Bok; one grandchild; and two great grandchildren. Private family visitation was held Monday, September 9, 2013. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN.
