I am so sorry to say that I did not know your father, Carson Spear Jr., but I did read that he was a veteran of the Vietnam War...and we Vietnam veterans have a special bond with one another. There is no greater honor than to serve your country at a time of war. Your father made many sacrifices, I know, and I wanted to say thank you for serving our country and "WELCOME HOME CARSON."
WE COME NOT TO MOURN OUR DEAD SOLDIERS, BUT TO PRAISE THEM. -Francis Walker-
May you find comfort that there are many other veteran's who share in your loss. May your memories of your father soothe you, your friends comfort you, and your family's strength help your hearts begin to heal. May the love you shared sustain you through this difficult time of sorrow. ON BEHALF OF A GRATEFUL NATION, AS AN EXPRESSION OF APPRECIATION FOR THE HONORABLE AND FAITHFUL SERVICE RENDERED BY YOUR FATHER, I SALUTE YOU BROTHER SPEAR.
Please accept my deepest sympathy.
