Family of Gerald Rodda,
I am sorry to say that I did not know your Gerald, but I did read that he was a Vietnam War veteran, and we Vietnam veterans have a special bond with one another. Gerald made many sacrifices, I know, and I just want to say, "Thanks Gerald for serving our country." There is no greater honor than to serve your country at a time of war.
WE COME NOT TO MOURN OUR DEAD SOLDIERS, BUT TO PRAISE THEM -Francis Walker-
On behalf of a grateful nation, as an expression of appreciation for the honorable and faithful service rendered by your loved one, I salute you Brother Gerald.
May you all find comfort in knowing that there are many other Vietnam War veterans that share in your loss. May your memories soothe you, your friends comfort you, and your family's strength help your hearts begin to heal. May the love you shared sustain you through this time of sorrow. Please accept my deepest sympathy. May his memory be eternal.
