Our sympathy to the Anderson Family. My dad served on the Gen. Butner as a Pharmacist's Mate in late 1945. I am a Member of the Reunion Association as his representative. I suppose it is possible that "Swede" and my dad bumped into each other on the ship. Never can tell. Dad's name and mine are the same. Again, condolences to all your family. Rylance Lord, Pharmacist (Ret)
I can't remember a time in my life without Harry in it. As a little girl sitting on his steps with the poodles eating ice cream, to an adult sitting outside just talking. Harry filled a void for Steve and I with us having lost our fathers at such young ages. We will miss him more than we can express.
