Dear Jim, Michael, Emily, Jack
I am deeply saddened by your loss of Linda. I did not get a chance to see her very often when at your house but was always happy when did and talked with her. The last time I did she was showing me how Bailey was taught to say "I love you". I laughed when she said "That's not good enough," and Bailey would try again. Keep strong. When you feel sad think of one of the many happy times with her. She will be looking down on you smiling!
Dear Jim and family:
I am tremendously saddened at the death of your beloved wife and mother. I can only imagine that it is but a fraction of the grief and sorrow you carry. Please know that Kathleen's and my prayers have been with you regularly and will continue to be. I pray that you will be comforted and that your tears will be wiped away.
I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your precious mother and the brave man who tried to help her.
We were broken hearted to learn of your wife's sudden passing. We have held you and your family in prayer and will continue to. Dave and I are Kristen Dixon's parents. Please know we care.
May God bless and keep you all during this very precious time. God heals all wounds. My prayers are with you.
Dr. Kay McDuffie (Purdue University Calumet).
Linda is missed by so many. She lit up the world around her with her fantastic sense of humour. We teased each other for being at opposite ends of the height spectrum, for the different vocabulary that we both use and all sorts of other things. My friend "tall bird or chuck" was there for me when we lost our son Henry. She texted me often and encouraged me to start working out with her. I will never forget the "stupid o'clock" bootcamps that we did together. The conversations we had in the morning would keep me laughing all day. Linda always put her family first and loved to talk about Jim, Michael, Jack, and Emily. I still can't believe I am talking about her in the past tense. My love goes out to everyone who loved my wonderful friend.
Dear Jim, our deepest condolences on your loss. We both have fond memories of time spent with you and Linda at LabWare functions. Our prayers are with you and your family.

I knew Linda from Forest Ridge Academy. She was the kind of person that just made you smile when you saw her. She and my son, Mitchell used to have an on-going "smack talk" battle about the Packers and the Bears that was highly entertaining. She was a lovely person, and she will be missed. We are so sorry for your loss. Mitch says, "Go Packers, but only this once."
Dear Jim, we are very saddened to hear about your loss. Please accept our heartfelt condolences in this tragic event. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family always.

Jim, Emily, and Jack,
I know there is nothing anyone can say right now to make the pain you feel any better. Loosing Linda is a tragedy that will be felt by many. I loved her sarcastic witt and her caring personality. She had a funny personality and a good heart. I am glad I had the chance to know her by her and the kids being at FRA. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers that in time you will live in peace with her memory.

So, so sad for all whose lives must go forward without this dynamic, happy spirit. We were only "virtual" friends, but all the messages we exchanged were full of life and passion for her students, education, and her family. ( I hope she got you the flashlight, Jim) Steve and I are saddened by the loss of this member of our extended radio "family." My words are a clumsy effort to say how sorry we are. May you be guided to peace, and comforted by loved ones and memories.
Cousin Jim, Words can not express our sadness. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your children for days to come. May God give you strength and comfort. Much Love from Texas. Mike and cousin Lyn Casey
I worked with Linda at Carolyn's Caring Corner years ago. She always made me laugh!!! I will miss her smile and generous heart!
Dearest Emily, Jack and Jim,
My daughter had the best teacher I could've ever hoped for last year with your wonderful, loving, caring, smart, beautiful mother and wife. Thank you for sharing her with all of us.
'Mrs. D.' was always sharing stories about all of you, and of course Bailey, with the class... My daughter would often come home and tell me of the shenanigans that your family was getting into!
I would like to share the letter she wrote to Santa:
For Christmas I want Mrs. D. back for her kids. I feel really sad because she went to heaven. If you can't it's fine. We'll still have her in our hearts. I miss her. I am very sad.
Jack, just wanted to let you know I am thinking about you and sending prayers your way, I don't have the words to explain how my heart is breaking for you. We sure did have a lot of great memories, when your mom was our 1st grade teacher at FRA, hold on to your memories…this will help you find comfort one day. My mom always tells me, Love the people God gave you, because He will need them back one day! Remember your mom will always be with you and your family!
I am sending prayers to Linda's family. I graduated with her and she was the "mom" of our Purdue group. We are going to miss you so much. You were so full of laughter and had the best smile. May you RIP. XOXO
With love and prayers to all of you, we remember what a remarkable person Linda was to every life she touched. We are part of her Montana family and are saddened by your loss.
Jim, you are in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest sympathy for your loss. Hang in there Jim.
I have kept in touch with Linda through Facebook over the last few years. Her energy was so contagious, even through her posts and pictures. I remember growing up near the Keith family, and sometimes, Linda babysat for my brother and me. (We laughed about this a few years ago, because she was only 3 years older than me!) The news of this tragedy has weighed so heavily on my heart. The world has lost an amazing person. My deepest sympathy to her mother, husband, sisters, children, family, friends, co-workers, and students. I am thinking of you all.
Our Children are deeply saddened as I'm sure every student is in her passing will be.
Our prayers to her Family & Friends.

I worked with Linda a few years ago when she taught at Columbia Elementary in Hammond. She was always smiling and full of funny, spontaneous comments. Every one who knew her has been blessed to have had such a charismatic friend. Her loss instantly makes us question "Why?". However, that is not for us to know at this time. We have to trust in Him. Faith is trusting even when we don't understand and that Faith will pull us through.... I am so sorry for your loss. Hugs to all of you who are hurting....
