My favorite uncle, no question .... Inspired me to join the military police during my Army service. Always a warm and friendly smile for me during our family visits . Especially enjoyed our visits fishing with Bob and my dad at the pier in Venice Florida. Collected fossilized sharks teeth with Bob and Shirley and my 6 year old daughter on Venice beach,,,sweet memories
Gave me my first bb gun. Uncle Bob was a straight shooter..a rock of a man you can depend on.
Love you always
Dear Uncle Bob, will miss your humor and many good memories.
Love you always and forever, Dad
My dad was the best father a daughter could ask for. When I was young he was always there for me when I needed him and always made time for his family. I have wonderful memories thanks to Dad. A lot of laughter and love. He was a good, good man and I know I was dearly loved then and now. My heart is broken, Daddy, but I'm glad that you aren't suffering any longer. Love you always and forever.

I'm sorry for the loss of your brother. I never met him, but if he is anything like you, he is a special person
I have many memories of Chief Reibly who was a dear friend of my family. He was a good friend and co-worker of my Mother, Arlene "Ma" Bartley. He was a special person. Love and prayers to his family.
Bob was a great person and he is now joining a great group in heaven along with Ray, Herbie, Larry, Don, Keith, Arlene, Lee, Loren...one big FOP card game! We loved him and our prayers are with your family at this sad time.
So you have gone over the rainbow to be with Shirley. I will miss our weekly calls and I know you'll miss my adventures at exercise class. Say Hi to Shirley and John, and a kiss to Tom from me. Miss you all.
Love, your sister Carolyn
Bob was the Chief who hired me and I learned several things about human actions from him. He will always be my "Chief". My prayers are with the family.

As a younger cousin I looked up to Bob and his brothers, we had so much fun at family gatherings often at their house in Glen Park. All the best to his kids and their families.
So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
