My wife Amy and I became close with Mark while at Purdue and we had many inside jokes. We are literally still laughing about them today. We were laughing about one in particularly the day he passed, though we hadn't heard the news yet.
It's been around 10 years since then and we are still laughing. That is the kind if joy he brought to our lives. That is Mark's legacy to us. He was a truly unique, kind, intensely loving, compassionate soul. Not making good on our many "we should get together" discussions will haunt me, but I firmly believe we will meet again.
Koves family, our most sincere love and prayers are with you.
