Our daughter hated math...Mrs. Badylak was her favorite teacher. She was so kind, understanding that not all students understand math the way that mathematicians do. She made our daughter feel good about herself and taught our daughter that she, too, can learn math; she just needed it to be taught in manner that she understood. What a great loss to all students who will not gain the confidence and understanding that Mrs. Badylak brought. As parents we thank Mrs..Badylak. Our daughter went on to graduate from Purdue University in four years, I might add. Mrs. Badylak shall be remembered very fondly by this family.

Ken, Stephanie and Kenny, So sorry to hear of your loss. You have my deepest sympathy. She is in a better place and you will be with her again some day

Ken and kids, I was saddened to hear that Sandy is no longer with us. She was always a bright and cheerful figure in the office at Crown Point High School when she would visit me at the main desk. She had an audible and visible witness of pride and love for her family, her faith, and her profession. I admired her courage and dedication. I know you will miss her, yet you all know you will see her again because of the faith in Jesus Christ, Savior of the world, to which all of you cling.
