Carolyn has long been the "luce ultravioletta" for MSA with her bright smile, fun and innovative designs, and fearless input into our industry. Her generosity to MSA through sponsorship and ALA through contributions from her brilliant "Banned Books" bracelet will never be forgotten. She will be missed as she dances elsewhere.

I was extremely saddened to hear of Carolyn's death. She was unique in her sense of whimsy, sense of humor and great sense of style. My condolences to her family and hope you will carry on with her existing designs.

Carolyn was a courageous librarian who worked for everyone's right to read and not be censored. She donated a portion of her profits to the Freedom to Read Foundation

I always enjoyed seeing you when I visited Megan. You were such a cool aunt. I have lots of your pieces and love wearing them and will think of you when I do. May peace be with you.
