Eileen was such a special person and such an outstanding doctor. She was so deeply caring and compassionate and so full of life. I felt so blessed to have her watch over our family's health. I am so sorry for her family's loss and for the loss to her extended family, our community.

To The Gleber Family
& Ron McQuire.......
I am a friend & colleague of Ron McQuire, and I would very much like to extend my sincerest sympathies to the Gleber Family and Ron.
I didn't have the pleasure or good fortune of knowing Eileen, but Ron always spoke of his sister fondly and with Love. She will be greatly missed, but God, no doubt, has a better plan for her now.....she rests-in-peace.
May your family be consoled with the knowledge that her good works will be her legacy and will 'live' well past our mortal existence. God bless you and your family.

Eileen was the most dedicated doctor I've ever had. She spared no effort in researching a diagnosis and counseling her patients. Her early death is a tragic loss to our community as well as to her family.

Well I was cleaning and sorting my bathroom and our first aid supplies today and found the sterile water and the little scalpel she sent us home with when my daughter had something (was it rusty nail bits?) that had to be rinsed and removed again. Dear Eileen Gleber always took the time to teach in such a loving way and a way that include self-responsibility. If one of the kids needed antibiotics, the handwritten, legible prescription that we took home, went something like this: 1. lots of fresh fruits and vegetables 2. hot chicken soup (use the necks and feet) 3. rest 4. antibiotic And there were many other instances where I was in her patient and very kind presence as she explained with compassion whatever the patient needed to know. What a love!

What an extraordinary woman and doctor!
Eileen will be so sadly missed by so many of us. I came to count on her for her wisdom, expertise, interest, involvement and care. She was a genuine healer, in the very best sense of the idea. She was present, focused and interested in each of us, cared how we were doing, tried her very best to help, and went the extra mile to be sure we were cared for. I hope she had others doing that for her, as she grew closer to the end of her time. I am so grateful that I had time with her and gained from being a very small part of her world.

Our community will never close the gap caused by her dying, but she stands as a truly wonderful person, one who gave so much more than she took. May we learn from her and help others as she did.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that her passing has affected so many people. And I am grateful to the time and effort she gave to help me find out what was affecting me. Her help and encouragement and kindness was, and is, appreciated beyond my ability to express.
Her Passing is a significant loss to so many.
I'm sorry that I missed the memorial service for Eileen.

She had a big heart and never shied way from opening it ...
I miss her.

I did not know Eileen Gleber as a doctor, as she was not my physician. But she was the physician of two very close friends of mine. The first friend was my dear neighbor, Jackie. Jackie was elderly and Eileen always made housecalls when Jackie needed her. She often just stopped by to see how Jackie was doing.
My second friend has now passed. As Gloria lay in the hospital dying, Eileen came to her bedside. She sat and talked to me for hours, so excited to have known Gloria, and singing her praises on how Gloria always greeted life with a smile...no matter how hard life could be. I was struck by her words, as I was aware that Dr. Gleber herself was suffering from a very serious illness, and yet sat there beaming with life, love and joy. Her soul touched so many so deeply. Thank you, Eileen for sharing this time on earth with us. We are so fortunate to have shared the same path with you. You are truly an angel, a bright spirit who has come here to help heal this earth's ravaged heart.
