My heart goes out to the Lautenberg family. I remember playing with Lisa and Josh at their house on Stonebridge Road when we were kids. I loved living in Montclair.

Mr. & Mrs. Lautenberg were always so gracious towards me.

It broke my heart to hear of his passing. Mr. Lautenberg was such a nice man and he will be greatly missed.

I know first hand how difficult it is losing a father that you love so much. I lost my dad three years ago May 19th and not a day goes by that I don't miss him.

If any of you need someone to talk to or a shoulder to lean on, just know that i'm always here for you. I know that a lot of time has passed since we've seen each other, but I think about you often.

Your dad fought for extensive research into finding a cure for cancer, especially pancreatic. I only wish that more could have been done to find a cure. I'm thankful to Mr. Lautenberg for listening to my concerns about this and for supporting my views on this very important matter. The responses I received were very heartfelt and for that, I will be enternally greatful to him.

My deepest condolences to the Lautenberg family. I'm sending hugs out to all of you.

RIP Mr. Lautenberg. You are and will always be greatly missed by so many.

Thank you for all that you did for our country. No one will ever be able to fill your shoes. Much love to you all.

I watched the Senator walk around the rubble from Sandy with President and Governor. My heart ached, but Senator Lautenberg was stalwart. The last surviving member of Congress of WWII. He reminded me of my father. Men of that era were built differently; thinking of themselves, always came last. I pray that tour of the devastation was not the cause of his passing. But want you to know, there are few of the Senator's ilk remaining and I honor Senator Lautenberg and his service.

My deepest condolences to the Lautenberg family on the passing of this self driven, great man. I had the honor and pleasure of working with him while at ADP in the Philadelphia executive office. The vision and leadership of ADP's founders, Henry Taub, Joe Taub and Frank led the way for one of the most successful companies in America to this very day. Frank continued on as a public servant for the people of New Jersey with convictions he thought in their best interest. May you rest in peace my dear friend and be forever in the hearts and minds of everyone whose lives you so eloquently touched.

Sympathy & kindest regards to the Lautenberg family & multitude of friends wherever they may be. I remember riding the train from Philly to NYC after Dick Thornburgh had a close call for reelection in 1982 in PA. I met my HS classmate, Burt Henry, on Wall Street; Burt introduced me to authentic Szechuan Chinese food on Mott Street & spoke highly of Sen. Lautenberg among numerous other subjects. God bless 1 & all. Take care.
