Thanks to all who signed. I will miss Dad's sense of humor and his never-ending search for knowledge. His mind was always working, and he was never satisfied with just being "average." Dad was able to see greatness in others and help bring it out of them. I am glad he touched so many lives.
I first met Jimmy during my DPW interview in law school. I will never forget the contrast between Jimmy's witty, down to earth comments and questions and that of my other interviewer who was no nonsense, straight forward and quite the opposite. If not for Jimmy, I might never have decided to go to DPW! For many years thereafter, while I was at the firm, Jimmy served as my mentor and, I like to think, my friend. And within the last few years, he has served as mentor to my son, now a DPW associate. For that, I never properly thanked him. I am profoundly saddened by his loss and I wish his family my deepest condolences.
Jimmy was a wonderful man and I am glad to have had the privilege to know him. I will always remember the conversations that we had over the years.
I will miss him.
Andrew, Bonnie and family, I am sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
My condolences to the Benkard family; it was a pleasure to serve on the Board of Trustees at Teachers College with such a brilliant man. He will be missed.
I just want to offer my condolences. Please take comfort in reading Isaiah 44:10, 13 in your Bible.
