Dr. Dycke's concern and kindness toward me when I was a student at Performing Arts is what I always will remember. During a very difficult time in my life, she was my champion. Her grace and dignity was an example for students at Performing arts to emulate. I am so grateful for having known her.

My deepest condolences to Marjorie's family, and my sincere thanks to you for sharing her with us. Marjorie's contributions to our community are too many to enumerate, but her most important was the example of civility she set for all of us to strive to emulate.

I send my deepest sympathies to the family of Marjorie Ferrigno. Marjorie was devoted to our neighborhood, Broadway-Flushing. Without her and Nick's foresight, hard work and diligence this neighborhood would be completely different today. Thank you for everything you taught me and your leading by example. I will do my best to continue your mission. I will always be grateful to you. Janet McCreesh, Broadway Flushing Homeowners' Association

Dr. Dycke was the true guiding light behind Performing Arts. She was my acting teacher in my freshman year, and she was always concerned about and involved in every step of the progress of all of us in the drama department. A marvelous voice, encyclopedic knowledge, and a true love of theatre and those who dreamed of pursuing it as a vocation--she was unique, and everyone who has ever studied at Performing Arts owes her a huge debt.

My dear friend, Marjorie -
Thank you for noticing me at my first meeting of the Broadway-Flushing Homeowners' Association more than thirty-two years ago. I will forever be grateful for your friendship and guidance, and instilling in me the love of community and civic responsibility. Thank you for the twinkle in your eye whenever you asked about my son. You are, and will forever be, the greatest teacher I have been blessed to know. Your friends in Broadway-Flushing will miss you forever, and we only hope that your spirit will continue to guide us in preserving our beautiful neighborhood for generations to come. I am comforted only that you and your beloved Nick are together again. Love, Maria, William and Matthew Becce

Condolences to the family of this majestic woman. Her sense of humor was magnificent and I remember working for her during the summer of 1965, addressing envelopes to some huge event with which she was involved. I worked in her apartment which was filled with amazing objects and she was a delightful taskmaster! She will be missed. Sincerely,
