Does anyone know Meredith's final resting place. If so could you let me know please.

I reconnected with Merrie in March of 2013, we worked together in Public Relations years before, she was an amazing mentor not just as a writer but about the life and its vicissitudes, I was always very fond of her charisma and "spunk", we began meeting up, chatting and working together again all through March. I am heartbroken to know she is gone, after not hearing from her on one of our scheduled meet day, I tried to reaching her for weeks. I am eternally grateful I was able to share with her laughter and joy in her last days. Merrie, thank you for taking this kid under your writer's wing! I love and miss you dearly- Nova

Merrie and I were grade school friends who reconnected in 2001, after she read about my father's death. Since then, we maintained an e-mail correspondence and visited from time to time when I was in New York.
I heard her perform "Ghost Love" there in December 2011, at the concert after her surgery. It's a quintessentially Merrie song, posted on YouTube at:

I just remembered another song Merrie frequently included in her club act - "Jesse" as sung by Roberta Flack, I believe on the same album (sorry but I am old) as "killing me softly."

I knew Merrie for 37 years. She was a loyal and loving friend blessed with a beautiful singing voice.
Whenever she came to London we always met up and time spent with her was always rewarding and memorable.
She was so multi talented,I saw her both acting and singing in London and on every occasion I felt privileged to be there .
Merrie had a zest for life she never lost, she met every challenge that life that life could pitch at her head on and was never beaten.
My great sadness is that we never got to say goodbye to her it would have made her loss just a little more bearable as it is she has left a void that will not be filled.

Merrie was a dear friend for more than 20 years, twice living at my house in London for short periods. There was never a dull moment in our friendship in all those years; I loved her for her energy, her talent, her intellect, her hunger for music and the arts and for her hospitality when her turn came to greet me in her home town for the first time - in some style, as it turned out, at Sardis. Years later I was able to return the favour with a Mozart dinner in 'my' adopted second home of Salzburg. I just can't believe she's gone. She was much too full of life for that.

I knew my relative Meredith Rich for almost forty years; our mothers are first cousins. I enjoyed attending her performances from the mid-1970s through one I attended at Troutbeck in Amenia NY over ten years ago. She selected interesting material to perform. I remember an enjoyable dinner with her while I was in London on business when she complimented the piano player on "The Folks who Live on the Hill," a favorite of my late father. Also shared meals in NY with her and sometimes her mother Adele. I will miss this talented cousin.

I didn't know Meredith for very long, but I want to speak to her generosity, her energy, her spirit, her vision and her wonderful voice. she will be missed.

Although I only knew Meredith for a short period of time, it was enough time for us to be very good friends. She and I always had long talks about how we all should appreciate living life. I will miss her..

So sad to hear of Meri's death. Wonderful memories from childhood - a dynamic person.
