Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

For Natasha...
WEEP NOT FOR ME
Do not weep for me when I no longer dwell among the wonders of the earth; for my larger self is free, and my soul rejoices on the other side of pain...on the other side of darkness.
Do not weep for me, for I am a ray of sunshine that touches your skin, a tropical breeze upon your face, the hush of joy within your heart and the innocence of babes in mothers arms.
I am the hope in a darkened night. And, in your hour of need, I will be there to comfort you. I will share your tears, your joys, your fears, your disappointments and your triumphs.
Do not weep for me, for I am cradled
in the arms of God. I walk with the angels, and hear the music beyond the stars.
Do not weep for me, for I am within you;
I am peace, love, I am a soft wind that caresses the flowers. I am the calm that follows a raging storm. I am an autumns leaf that floats among the garden of God, and I am pure white snow that softly falls upon your hand.
Do not weep for me, for I shall never die, as long as you remember me...
with a smile and a sigh.

Your grief may ebb and flow. It has been said that each of us has this well deep inside of us that can be filled to the brim with grief. Every time we cry, we empty out some of the well, but the well fills again. The level of sorrow in your well may lessen as time passes, but it will never run dry. There will always be anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, and those days when the well seems to fill to its brim again. Allow yourself time to remember and mourn; it is part of your healing. Grief is a continuing journey.

Your wife, Natasha Richardson was pure CLASS. She always came across as compassionate, intelligent, kind and she was beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. Dear Mr.Neeson,
I would like to write you to express my deepest sympathy at the loss of your beautiful wife. The day that I heard she died I went onto youtube and saw my favourite scene of The Parent Trap where she is walking Through London on the way to Her Elizabeth James Bridal shop and They do the photo shoot. She was such a wonderful woman.I cried a little because I thought it is not fair that she is gone so suddenly for a little tumble.I am sure that you are devastated.
Death is not natural for any of us and it is terrible to cope with.
I find the words in John 5:28,29 so comforting tho.The bible speaks of the ressurection that is shortly going to happen when you will see your beloved Natasha again.Even tho we suffer having a hope can give us a light at the end of the Tunnel.
A brochure that is very helpful to cope can be found online at www.watchtower.org Entitle "When Someone you love Dies" I would encourage you to look at it for a couple of moments. It can only give you comfort.
Thank you for your attention.
I send my best wishes and deepest sympathy.Jill Murray

Here are some lines from a song I wrote in honor of my heart donor, on the fifth anniversary of my transplant. May they bring some comfort to you all.
Heart of my heart, living inside of me,
Beating so silently, giving new life.
Where are the words, how can I thank you,
For such a sacrifice?
Long ago, a plan was made, of two journeys leading to one;
No one knew then, while one life would end,
Another would soon start again.
Heart of my heart, living inside of me,
Beating so silently, giving new life.
Where are the words, how can I thank you,
For such a sacrifice.
I'll never forget, as long as I live
The gift of a perfect heart.
I'll live my days, filled with praise,
For the chance of a brand new start.
Heart of my heart, living inside of me,
Beating so silently, giving new life.
Where are the words, how can I thank you,
For such a sacrifice.

I was skiing the day before her tragedy. Tho' I fell, there were no dire consequences. I had a trip tix to Montremblant also. My Mom called & we discussed the news of Natasha. She asked if I wore a helmet & my reply was, "I do now." My Mom then asked, "Did you read when her Birthday is?" I didn't. She told me it was May 11th. I just turned 48 this past Monday... I drove 5 hours from Vt. to NY to leave a candle, flowers & a card on her gravesite. It was hard to find as there was no headstone, but the groundskeeper spotted all the flowers. As I was fighting back tears, my sister called. I told her I was wishing "Tasha" a Happy Birthday & that I found the cemetary by running into the groundkeeper/gardner. She said..."Do you see the analogy?" When Mary was looking for Jesus, a gardner came to her & told her not to be afraid, that He was alright. I'm glad I made the trip to NY, stopping at the quaint church in Millbrook & meeting up with "the gardner" who led me to her final resting place. SHINE ETERNALLY NATASHA! I'll light the candle when I visit again...
