I saw Peter O'Toole in Lawrence of Arabia at age 13 and it changed the course of my life. A splendid fellow and true gentleman. The movies were simply too small for him. A hearty toast to you, Mr. O'Toole, we will never see your likes again. P.S. Lord Jim was a magnificent movie. W Redden (Washington, D.C.)

I just thought Peter O'Toole was the best-looking man I have ever seen. I enjoyed him in "How to Steal a Million" with Audrey Hepburn. I also purchased "Lawrence of Arabia". Since his last two acting jobs involved Catholic topics, I was hoping he had received the last rites in the Catholic Church. I just want him to be in Heaven.

From The Ruling Class to Lawrence of Arabia to My Favorite Year to Venus to Lion in Winter, Mr. O'Toole showed his versatility . And he did it all and lived his life on his own terms.

I'm not really sure but for some reason I came across this mans pic and I seen my self in him so I stop to say to the family life is never lost just a ending to a chapter and the beginning to another step closer to fulfilling life's purpose. Celebrate his life cause it will never be forgotten. Yours truly Arlyss Engebretson

Your beloved Edmund Kean finally has a peer on the eternal stage, Peter. You have ever been the greatest of them all, in my eyes as he was in yours. I raise a glass to you both.

We have lost the great Irish actor whose intellect and love of life inspired all who knew him. Raise your glass to a man of imminence class. RIP Peter.
