I just learned of the passing of my friend Roberto. I am honored to have known him for more than a quarter of a century and to serve with him as co-author of one of his textbooks. He was a gentleman in every sense of the world. Roberto was one of the most creative thinkers I have ever met - a fountain of interesting ideas. He was kind and thoughtful. Roberto tops the list of people who have a good, positive outlook on life. We are blessed that he lived such a long, productive life. My deepest sympathy to Eva and his family.

Dear Tio Roberto,
We will miss you so much. I'm so glad I visited you 2 months ago. Your love of the law was contagious and something I carry with me in my practice. I'll always remember your trial advocacy stories and wonderful sense of humor.
Tia Eva: my deepest condolences. We send you our love.

sadly words are the only tool I have to convey my gratitude to Roberto. He took me in as his own son and helped me overcome a very difficult period of my life. I will always remember him dearly.

Roberto –

I had the good fortune to have you as my father-in-law for more than 22 years. While you could have been just the father of my wife, you and I developed a deeper and more personal relationship thru our shared values, outlooks on life and more recently our collaboration on the editing of your last published book.

For someone who co-existed and participated with the iconic figures of Israel's past politicians and diplomats, a more humble and family-oriented man, I never knew. You made it very clear that your family came first and you always made time to speak with us, regardless of your other countless obligations. Even in the midst of your debilitating illness, you never ceased to inquire about the welfare and goings-on of others.

Roberto – the void that your absence leaves in our lives is a testament to the person that you were. You always said to me that many people dream of doing great things, but only a select few work to achieve those dreams. For 98 plus years, you carried out your dreams to the fullest. No one could look at the tableau of your life and say that you didn't have a complete and highly successful one. Your legacy is huge and your shoes will be impossible to fill.

I will carry your words and your spirit with me for the rest of my days.

God bless you and keep you for all eternity

I will always remember Roberto Aron, as a very special person. I am very sad that he is no longer with us. Peace to his soul.

Dear Daddy –

You were not just a daddy for me – you were a disciplinarian, a counselor, an adviser and later on in life – my best friend.

I admired you and looked up to you. There were so many things I
learned from you – the list is too long – I will name just a few – your traditions, values, your strength and will to live, your love of family and your eternal optimism. You taught me the meaning of hard work and
your sense of humor made me laugh even during times that were hard for me.

I will carry your spark of life, zest for living and I will follow forever your legacy to become a great self accomplished and fulfilled person,
just as you did.

Though you are no longer physically here with us, you will remain forever in my heart.

I love you very much and will miss you for the rest of my life.

May God bless your memory forever.

My legendary grandfather, a man with a kind heart and an enormous soul, a man with a calm and embracing character, a grandfather that always knew how to listen, to support and to love.

We had a relationship that was pure, honest and loving. With no judgments or criticism, on the contrary, only admiration and love that was communicated through the eyes and through the beautiful words that you used to tell me; you called me “Tesoro”, treasure, you called me “mi cielo” my sky, you called me “lucero” a shining star, and every time you expressed these words, it was like a gentle yet powerful caress that enriched my soul.

I had the privilege to grow up with a role model that set an example in all aspects of life, I had the privilege to learn from your wisdom, to absorb your values, to watch your way – a way of kindness integrated with cleverness and a unique sense of humor.

Lately, I had the privilege to help in the distribution of your book – these were beautiful and unique moments that I will cherish for the rest of my life – I am grateful to you for giving me the opportunity to take part in this project.

You will be missed grandapa, and you will always be in my heart.
Your grand daughter,

Dear Daddy:
You left us 48 hours ago, and you left inside me, a
profound feeling of emptiness and sadness.I cannot conceive my life
without u in it. You have left within me, a big legacy, which i plan to
follow, work very hard and live a life full of accomplishments. I
will never forget your love for life, your love to your family and
your love to the State of Israel. You were always there for me,
understanding me, caring about me and respecting me. I will never
forget all what you taught me, moral values, principles and right from
wrong.I love you so very much. You will live inside me forever. I love
May you rest in peace Dad
