She took such an interest in others and was their advocate, she left too soon

During my sister-in-law, Susan Vojta's, memorial service luncheon, I had an enchanting visit with Sheila. Telling her things she wondered about the Vojtas as well as getting to know how lovely, intelligent and humorous she was lessened my heartache. I wish I'd known her sooner. Betsie Sanders

Sheila stopped sending her annual Christmas letter last year and we missed it. She was a great friend in high school and college and a huge influence on my young life. My thoughts go out to the greater Stein/Bowen family at this time of their great loss.

Sheila and I lived on the same street in Owatonna. We were four years old. It is amazing and unbelievable that she has died. Her family will gather without their director. It is a sad day. Love to you all. Patty Luhmann
