Today is Sunday, September 15th, 2024, and I remember you, Travis.
I hope I will see you again one day, hear your laugh, feel the warmth of your smile. Miss you so much it is hard to think about you but I do. RIP

Dear Travis,
Remember that you are not forgotten and never will be. We all wish you were here during the past eight years and for many more in the future. I know that you would have been very successful. But I know that you are alive and well in Heaven. Much love to you and your family.

What a lovely gentle individual you were.I have watched Stu and Davy so many times because of you,as you are the one that radiates hope in a harsh and not so gentile a time.I am so sad to think we shall be deprived of your beauty and talent. We all just want to reach out for you in the hope that some how you will miraculously return.God bless you dear Travis. I am so sad. Much love.

I was unfortunately unaware that you had left us. This evening I just happened to revisit Davy and Stu. Unbeknownst to me it was the eve of your passing. I remember watching it quite sometime ago and was reminded of the enjoyment of an early love. I felt it prudent to learn more about the actors and was saddened to learn of your death. This short film was one of many that helped me come to terms with my own life's circumstances. Thank you Travis, you left us far too early, but you live on through your work.

I have kept Travis's performance in Davy and Stu close to my heart since I saw it first. I felt from his performance that I 'knew' him.

In reality, of course, he was simply at the top of his craft, portraying a questioning teenager trying to find his place in the world. His grace, his subtlety of feeling, his ability to convey an emotion with a simple look, all of these things meant that he 'knew me'.

That movie, a great short film to be immortalised in, has meant a very great deal to today's question teenage boys, those in love with another boy, or wondering if they might be. It is discussed on internet forums today and will be for as long as it remains available online

Not only a good actor, not just good looking, Travis's beauty also shone out through his eyes. Were it possible to fall in love with a face on the screen it would be possible to fall for him, even knowing nothing at all about him.

It maybe too late but, marry Christmas and happy New year. You should be 28 years old soon.

April 24, 2017

Thinking about you and your family on the fifth anniversary of your passing. You seemed like such a pleasant person, even though I only knew you through your acting. I wish we had more people like you in today's world. You are an inspiration and your memory on earth will never fade. I will do my best to live the rest of my life in an honorable way because of you.

I am deeply saddened as I just learned of your passing. Your face is the only thing that brings me back when I am depressed, when I don't believe in tomorrow anymore. Watching you in Davy and Stu makes me believe love is a possibility, even when everything seems lost forever. I keep that movie handy, since its a light of hope for me. You have a special place in my heart, close to that spot we call in french "secret garden", which means the place in your heart where you keep your deepest secrets, hopes, fantasies, fears, and joy. You will stay there forever.

I am deeply sorry for the family's and friends' loss. Please know that your son brought beauty and hope to this world.

It is truly amazing how many people he made an impression on during his short life. I was blessed to be his first cousin and spend a lot of my childhood with him. We always felt he was so special, and eventually others did too. He is forever missed and loved. So proud of our little Trav.

I just seen where this young man has passed on. I am crying my eyes out now and I cannot accept the fact that his work is all but done! My heart goes out to his surviving family and his friends. May he rest in eternal peace! One knows not how long that one will walk the earth. We all need to walk with Jesus as he is our saviour and our protector. God bless the Walters family!

I only recently learned of Travis passing and I still can't believe it. I am hurting, even though I didn't have the opportunity to be a part of his life like I would of loved to. I've seen many times the short film of Davy & Stu and fell in love with it. Especially with Travis character, Davy. His acting was overwhelming. He had great talent and is a very special person. Travis has left a footprint deep in my heart that will remain for the rest of my life. God bless your beautiful soul Travis. Your on my mind and prayers constantly.

A loss, indeed. I only recently learned of his passing. He will always be Louis to me. I wished he had done much more over many more years.
My condolences to all those who miss him from their lives.
I will never again be able to enjoy a favorite old movie the same way again.

I knew Travis in middle school, and I actually remember when he showed me that picture of him and Newman in person from when he was in "Our Town"... He was a great guy; my fondest memories were of his hilarious interactions with our 7th grade homeroom teacher, Mr. Galluzzi.

My deepest regards go out to his family and friends.

I didn't know Travis Walters but saw two performances from several years ago online and was blown away. Seemed he could convey a world of dialogue with just his eyes, expressions, and movements. Like many others I was waiting to see what else he'd endeaver as an actor and I know it would have been phenominal. Horrible tragedy to lose anyone so young and with that kind of talent.......really such a tragedy! May he thrive in a better place forever. God bless him and the family.

I just learned about Travis and I still can't believe it. I didn't know him, but I saw him once in a movie and I was hoping to be able to work with him someday (I'm a filmmaker student in Belgium.). This is horrible, I wish lot of courage to the family. ( I would have liked to express myself better but my English is not good enough.)

Uncle Clyde and Wendy, I can't imagine how you feel. You provided Travis with a wonderful life and great opportunities. It seems that Travis made the best of those opportunities. He filled up your life and you where both very proud of him. I want you both to know you are in my thoughts as you celebrate his rich life.

April 26, 2012

Dear Wendy and Clyde, my mother and I are beyond the words to describe our sorrow.
So very sorry. Travis will be with us in our hearts forever.

Travis and I have lived in the same building for many years, and we were both actors. By happy coincidence, some years ago, I found myself playing his grandmother on "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" Subsequently, I remember seeing him both on and off-Broadway and had always hoped that we would work together again. Our entire building is saddened by the loss of this very gifted young man and our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Here's to Travis Walters. Someone who I only knew for a short time when I first got into the theatre program at Towson, but who I will always remember. From always keeping each other laughing, to his snarky but honest observations, he was an individual in the crowd. A neon in the grey. Rest in Peace.
