For Walter Cronkite
"The voice of honesty."

WEEP NOT FOR ME

Do not weep for me when I no longer dwell among the wonders of the earth; for my larger self is free, and my soul rejoices on the other side of pain...on the other side of darkness.

Do not weep for me, for I am a ray of sunshine that touches your skin, a tropical breeze upon your face, the hush of joy within your heart and the innocence of babes in mothers arms.

I am the hope in a darkened night. And, in your hour of need, I will be there to comfort you. I will share your tears, your joys, your fears, your disappointments and your triumphs.

Do not weep for me, for I am cradled
in the arms of God. I walk with the angels, and hear the music beyond the stars.

Do not weep for me, for I am within you;
I am peace, love, I am a soft wind that caresses the flowers. I am the calm that follows a raging storm. I am an autumns leaf that floats among the garden of God, and I am pure white snow that softly falls upon your hand.

Do not weep for me, for I shall never die, as long as you remember me...
with a smile and a sigh.

I grew up with Walter Cronkite because my mom watched him. she is now 93 with alz. I certainly appreciate his news worthiness, since things have changed drastically. I am very sorry for your loss. We can hope to see our loved ones again, as promised in God's Word, the Bible in John 5: 28,29. Revelation 21:3-5 promises there will no more death, sickness, sorrow.

To The Cronkite Family: I am so sorry he is no longer here with us, but do know that he is still here with us in spirit. I pray that you all will be comforted by these words:

Try to remember that a GOOD man never dies; You will see him many times.
You will feel him in all things that are here out of love, and for love.
The person of a man may leave or be taken away, but the best part of a GOOD man stays. It stays FOREVER!

What sad news to learn that Walter Cronkite has been taken away from us.

His voice, his news reporting, was as solid gold as he personally was.

He left a golden legacy in his private life as well, and he will be missed.

May the angels welcome him, so that he may look down upon all the wonderful memories he left behind.

God bless him!
