Colin, you came into my life many years ago, at a time when I was young, carefree and travelling. I was attracted by your love of music, your gentle and easy going nature and we had lots of fun together. My memories of NZ and my times with you and our mutual friends will always be fond ones.
We married in Invercargill in 1983 on your birthday and although our marriage was short-lived I never forgot you and have always wondered how things panned out after we separated.

Life takes us all on many twists and turns and no doubt yours and mine was meant to be and our union if only for a short time was a part of our destiny. I felt very sad when I found out you had passed away and send my sincere condolences to your brothers and families.
May you rest in peace with your dear Mum Joan, gentle heart.
Cxx
