An admired woman of vigour and fierce intelligence, beauty and incredible suppleness....I remember her doing high kicks in our kitchen. Your parents Alan and Dawn were always extremely warm and welcoming and great friends to Owen and Noelene. COndolences to you and yours. She will be much missed.

Thinking of you all at this time, and thinking how fortunate you were all there with wonderful memories to share. For me too, fish dish n leed, sherry on the front steps, huge gardening days, dropping everything and heading off to the pools, laughing, practical jokes and Sunday afternoon rests for Dawn. Cedar Rd was a great environment and the Prentices were often behind the fun times. Dawn and Alan were always very supportive neighbours to Mum and she too really enjoyed the spontaneity.
Love to you all from Wales, my new home now.

Fun memories of you being my next door neighbour. Here are some I remember well-setting the floor on a Friday night for fish and chips, going to Parakai hot pools in 2 cars and playing hide and seek along the way, elevenses after church on the front steps and stock taking at your chemist. Fabulous you had a long life and got to enjoy retirement with Alan and meet all your grandchildren.
Love to you all Donald, Maggie, Nancy and Diana. So sorry I couldn't be at the funeral. Toni xxx

So sorry to hear of Dawns passing. We had not kept in contact in recent years But being my Godmother Dawn was often in my thoughts. Dawn attended my confirmation at kings College all those years ago when I was able to introduce her to our then Padre and tell her that I had another stunning education achievement by coming last in Divinity. Dawn seemed a little embarrassed by this and muttered something to the effect of " Great Godmother I turned out to be!!"
Thinking of you all.
Love from John and Michal.
