Dear Elly, we thank God for the many years of friendship you shared with us. For your gracious, generous, unselfish nature and strong and courageous spirit. Thank you for the example of your faith and unfailing trust in Jesus your Saviour. You loved life and desperately longed to live it longer and to the full, to share it especially with Angela, Jamie and Harley, but you were willing to acquiesce and accept God's will when that was not to be. We will always remember your abilities to plan and do things well, your unwearying commitment to your duties at St Andrews. Well done good and faithful servant. Farewell dear friend, until we meet again in Jesus' presence, where there is no more sickness or death, or sorrow or pain, only joy and blessedness, and all things new.
Arthur and Edna Palmer.
