Amanda & family - George was a guiding light in London to many from the antipodes from the mid 1980s onwards. Whether it was cricket or finance, George was a leader of men from this part of the world. Many great memories of Deadbats games, financial dealings and general fratenizing with George, your husband & father. Taken tragically & too soon, our thoughts are with you and we'd like you to know that Aussie-Kiwi-English relations are in a great place thanks in no small part to George! May he Rest in Peace and may we all smile as we remember him fondly.

Dear Amanda, Joe, Sam and Gabriel. A candle is lit to shine on you all in this time of loss and grief of George. A friend, husband and father. I wish you all long life.
With love Lisa Cohen

George was my financial advisor since 1984, but more than that he was a dear friend. Whenever we met usually in a pub we would spend 30 minutes reviewing my financial options and then get down to the important business of talking about any old rubbish with a lot of football and cricket mixed in. I shall miss him terribly and my heart goes out to Amanda and the kids. Richard.

George was such a kind, good humored, helpful and knowledgeable person who will be missed by so many all over the world. It was always such a pleasure to speak with him. My heart goes out to his family.
