I love you so much Mum, I pray that you're at peace now and happy with your mum and Bernadette xxx
I'll miss you forever and nearly two weeks later, I still catch myself wanting to call for a gossip or to let you know random things I see or hear, but you'll be with me always.
You were kind and generous and fun, you always wanted everyone to be happy and have a good time, the quintessential host. You would do anything you could to help your family and friends (who also became family), or anyone who needed it, even when you had nothing.
I learned so much from you and hope I can do you proud for the rest of my life.
Lots and lots of love forever,
Tania xxx

My beloved sis Helen. I first met you on April 11th 1982 the day before Tony and I got married. You were so astute and realsed how overwhelming it was for me to meet so many of the family. A glass of wine , a cigarettes and some wonderful irreverent moments and I fell in love with you. On my wedding day you stayed close to me throughout the day and we were still sewing Tony's and the boys ties at 3.50 and the wedding was at 4pm.Changing circumstances over the years never changed my love for you and we share some hard-case sisterley secrets which I will treasure always. Your love for the North and in particular Ahipara(Atipawa) saw you make me trips here and each year the tents got bigger, the beds got bigger and softer. I teased you that the only thing missing was the kitchen sink. You gave that beautiful deep infectious laugh and said you were working on it. Lo and behold the next Christmas yep the kitchen sink was proudly on display and very functional. Tomorrow sis I am going to Ahipara just to feel that I am near to you. Your children are a real credit to you and you would have been so proud of them especially over one of the most difficult times of their lives,-dealing with the loss of you their much loved mum. Rest easy beautiful Helen . We love you sis and will never forget you. Arohanui,
Connie Tony and family.

Helen you were such an amazing woman. I will never forget our trips to Ahipara, amazing family dinners where you always went out of your way to make something delicious for the vegetarian or your endless supply of cable ties. Thank-you for adopting me and being an awesome other mum, I miss you Helen xx
