Beautiful, heartfelt and beyond accurate words. Cozy couch, slipper and book days will be forever treasured and forever missed. Thank you for your wisdom, kindness and love Nonna.

YONGE, Lidia (Nonna) (nee Pariente). Born May 01, 1918. Passed away on February 24, 2018. Beloved mother of Richard, kindest mother in law of Shirley and forever loved Nonna of James and Natalie. Deeply loved by all her grandchildren who knew that hers was a home where there would always be stewed apples and pancakes and there would never be judgement. She was the foundation of our youth and the reward of our maturity. She will be greatly missed but lives on in the ravioli, bolognese and slippers she taught us all to make. Grateful she's at peace, grateful for the love she gave us, and grateful for the time we shared.
