Greetings to the Gibson Family it is with deep regret that we have learnt of the passing of your Beloved Dad - Maurice and to each and every one of you we send our sincere condolences at your sad loss. Maury lived a very long & full life and it was only in the last couple of weeks that we saw the Seven Sharp programme which featured in part your Dad - he looked amazing and bright for his age. We the Rudd's have many happy memories of our two Familied living in
Rutherford Road as neighbours and as children growing up together and often we would reminisce over those days.Inez & I have just had /10 days in Sydney attending Eric's eldest sons wedding.Eric has returned with us as he & I are going to the Marewa School 75th Jubilee celebrations this coming weekend and he joins with us on sending this message. You all will have many happy memories of life with your Dad and also your late Mum maythese be treasured for years to come. Again our sincere condolences.
Bryan & Inez, Eric & Jenny.

Ps For your information Valerie is no longer with us having died suddenly in Auckland 2 years ago.

I grew up with Yolande and worked with Maurie in the NCC Traffic Department from 1970 - 1972. A wonderful generous man with the most gentle of manner, truly a lovely human being. I would not be alone in saying that he was highly respected and loved by many in his working life in Napier.

What a wonderful long life worth celebrating and never forgetting.

My sincere condolences to all the family who must surely look back at Maurie's life with much pride, knowing that so many people have such fond memories of him.
