Goodbye my unbifurcated old buddy. I'll miss our sessions, all those afternoons and evenings spent in your company. Your good humour and uncanny ability to laugh in the face of adversity are the qualities most treasured. Always the back room genius, the iconoclast designer, you live on through your contributions to the art and beauty of recorded music.

His technical knowledge and background was quite extensive. His creations
will last for many years as a tribute to his expertise.
He loved music and thoroughly enjoyed the WOMAD festivals, and life in general.
He will be missed!

It was with very great sadness and shock that I learn't of Murray's sudden death. My condolences to his family, the wider family circle and friends. The world of audio and valve amplifier design, manufacturer and music reproduction is much the poorer now. I never met Murray in person but I was very privileged to have heard several of his designs and review them for Adventures in High Fidelity Audio, and the memory of the magic his 6A3 amplifier and pre will live on - pure magic and a great insight to the spirit of the man.
Rest In Peace Murray Your Labours Done.
God Bless
