You leave us Peter with many, many lovely memories dating back to our childhood family times in Napier with the Gebbie and Harman clan. In more recent years when you and your special Joanna returned to Auckland and lived close to us, we shared many happy and fun times together. Farewell our dear friend, cousin and perfect host you will be really missed.
love Yvonne and Wayne

Farewell Cuz. Till we meet again, we'll live on the many memories you've given us. Rest assured that we will watch after Jo. Check the wine cellar upstairs - we reckon there will be some good reds in there. Love Brent, Bev, Scott, Craig and Susie and families.

I remember Peter very fondly. He was my manager when we opened the Courthouse Lane branch of National Insurance. I often remember parking my car down the small parking area at the back of the office, usually behind Peter's Holden Statesman. You could bet that every time, Peter would want to go somewhere, and Larry Rountree and I would have to move our cars. He was a fantastic boss and certainly led me down the path to where I am today. Thank you Peter, you have left us now, but with great memories. RIP ol' son. Ed Mansell

GEBBIE, Peter Albert. Our hearts go out to the Gebbie family in this time of sadness. Joanna's family will miss Peter's cheeky humour and entertaining stories at our weekly family gatherings. Although he ate more than his share of prawn dumplings and egg tarts, we are privileged to have known him and are deeply thankful to him for being the light of Joanna's life. Love, Monica and John and Jason, Dennie and Jessica and Amanda, Sunny and Ruby, Kenny and Eva.
