Pete.
A colleague, mentor and friend for close to 30 years.A wise man to whom I could always turn to for good advice in tough times.
I will long remember our times together, the South Island road trips, the rugby debates and the "few" drinks at the end of the day.
Your strength and courage in recent times as you battled your health issues typified the man you were. You will be sadly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known you.
Our sincere condolences to Dianne, and the family.
R.I.P my old mate.
Malcolm & Lynda Hodge.

Of all the beautiful flowers God picks from his garden for His bouquet in heaven every day, surely He would choose only His most precious bloom on a Sunday. Our beautiful, kind, loving, welcoming cousin, Pete

GEENTY, Peter (Pete). Passed away on April 08, 2018. On Sunday we lost a Good man. As young men finding our way Pete showed us it was possible to be both Gentle and Strong. He was an inspiration to every Glenfield rugby boy that had the opportunity to spend time with him. We thank Dianne, Monique and Shelley for sharing him. RIP Pete. Andrew Burns
