So sorry we are unable to be with you all to celebrate Peter's life. His courage the past twelve months has been inspiring. The comment "well I am here and that is a bonus" won't be forgotten. Kindest regards Bev and John Clark

What wonderful words in the notice. Yes he will be missed at all our Customs Bowls Carnivals. Always the live and sole of the group and never stuck for a word or two. He had a great memory and told some great stories. Doreen ans I have had many wonderful times with both you and Pete over the years. All that beautiful home made PORT he bought and the tales that came out after a glass or three.
Without any doubt his cheerful personality and enthusiasm will be sorely missed by not only us Kiwis but by many of the Aussies as well.

ALABASTER, Peter. It is with great sadness that the Papatoetoe Hunters Corner Bowling Club acknowledge the passing of much loved and respected Life Member and Past President Peter Alabaster. A true "Club Man" his leadership and enthusiasm will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with Peters family at this time.
