Rest in peace Rainwater, and how special you were. Condolences to his family.
Mark was the cutest baby ever. He had gobs of dark brown curly hair. He was born at 7am, and weighted 7lb and 7oz. So we called him 7 UP. Being 11 years younger than me and 4 years younger than Bill, he was never young. He was always as old as we were. He started talking very young and Bill would show him off to his friends as a novelty. They would sit around and think up a hard word for Mark to say, like "hippopotamus". And of course they never stumped him. My kids and grandkids all Loved Uncle Mark. They were fascinated by him being in Vietnam and also a "hippie". He was Mr.Cool to them. We loved him very much and were all so blessed when he found Linda. She was just what he needed. Love, Mary Tom and Ozell
Linda, My sympathy to you and your family. I have not seen either you or Mark in a long time and was surprised to read of his passing. He was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. I know you will miss him very much. May God Watch Over You. Love and Blessings, Anita Guinn

I knew Mark from the time he was a student nurse & then when he began working at MCH. He was always such a happy person, always smiling. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy being a nurse. Linda, you & your family are in my thoughts & prayers at this difficult time. It sounds like Mark to want to be cremated "without any fuss"!! May God be with you all.
Mark worked in the OR at MCH while I was going through my training in the OC x-ray program. He was always so nice and helpful, even to a lowly student. Loved his sense of humor and his kindness. He will definitely be missed. Linda, Mary Tom , Miriam and the rest of the family, you will be in my prayers.
