I remember watching you play when my cub scout pack went to the games at old Busch. At that young age I was not aware of your greatest as a player or a person. I wish I could have met you face to face. What a role model for young folks as well as adults. Your humble ways are amazing and you will be missed. I just received a retro Cardinal jersey for Christmas this year, and of course it has your number on the back. I will were it proudly in your honor.

I will never forget meeting Stan as a child at his restaurant and he autographing a black and white photo. His death brings a tear to me.

To Stan the Man, loved by all and will be missed by all. Looking forward to having a catch with you in a few years in the "field of dreams". Bill Hague

My condolences to the Musial family. The grief of losing a father is great and beyond words. I've been a Cardinal fan all my life. I never got a chance to see Stan Musial play, the only thing I can do every time I come back to St. Louis is go to the stadium, but first stop at the statue of Stan Musial. He, to me is the Cardinals and baseball and St. Louis all in one. All the things I love. He is home for me and always will be.
