Mr. Pinette was my 'Homeroom Teacher', He was also acquainted w/my own Father who had passed away. We, as kids, used to make fun of teachers but for some reason we knew to leave Mr. Pinette alone. We all respected him. He never disrespected us Children? He cared about us? He really did. I will miss him. R.I.P. Mr. Clarence John.

High School years are and were difficult times for many. In the late seventies, in Cape Elizabeth, Mr. Pinette was a gentle, calming voice and spirit to me during mine. Hope and prayer for God's strength to the myriad of family and friends you leave behind in grief. God's speed to you, sir.

My condolences to John and the Pinette family. I never had Mr. Pinette as a teacher but would see him in the halls and he was always a friendly and positive presence. He had a great sense of humor. He certainly fit right in with the excellent and caring teachers l had come to know during my high school years. So glad to read that Mr. Pinette lived a full and rewarding life.
