One of the last times I saw Stan in person he played Take Me Out To The Ballgame on his harmonica. What a Thrill. My thoughts and prayers are with the Musial family.

You're back by your beloved Lil's side. You're remembered and loved by millions through eternity, a legend only claimed by a precious few in this life. It won't be the same without you, but I'm sure you'll be watching from above and blessing the Cardinals for the rest of time. My sympathy to your family and friends. Thanks for sharing him with us.

One of the last of the "old school"- players who carved out a whole career with one club. Or should I say one bat, one mighty bat. As a Red Sox fan, I should have disliked him, but I couldn't. His actions on and off the field showed that Stan was not just "The Man" but "The Gentleman" as well.

Rest in Peace, Stan.

Dziekujemy!

It won't be the same not seeing you ride around the stadium on Opening Day Stan. That's okay though, you'll be in the heart of every single member of Cardinal Nation and in the hearts of baseball's most dedicated fans. You've left an impeccable legacy on baseball and on the city of St. Louis! R.I.P Stan! Don't forget about us down here.

I had the pleasure of meeting Stan Musial a couple of times years ago. What a wonderful man he was! He will be truly missed.
