David Carver Obituary
David C. Carver, 63, of Akron passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015. David was a life resident of Akron and Manchester area.
He was a 1970 graduate of Manchester High School, received his Bachelor's from the University of Akron and his MLS from Kent State University. He retired from the Akron-Summit County Library after 35 years of service and was a strong supporter of the local arts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julia (Reisinger) and Chadwick Carver; and is survived by his sister, Ruth (Frank) Capasso; niece, Rebecca Capasso; and nephew, Charles Capasso; great niece, Samantha; and great nephew, Alexander; cousins and friends.
Funeral Service will be held TUESDAY, Sept. 8th at 11 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt.93, Canal Fulton) and where friends may call TUESDAY, from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Rev. Tom Kalb will officiate and burial will be at Manchester Cemetery. I became a close friend of David for our 2 years of Junior High School, then my family moved to New York, so I never saw him again after that. Rest in peace, David!

Dave was a loyal supporter of the Arts. He came to all the receptions and events and we had some great conversations over the years.
