Eric Street Obituary
Eric Michael Street, 33, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 in his home in Suwanee, Georgia.
Eric was happily married to his beautiful wife, Dr. Tuyet Phan Trieu-Street. Like a modern day Romeo and Juliet, Tuyet tragically took her own life the following day. Eric grew up in Canal Fulton, Ohio where he graduated from Northwest High School, Class of '99. Eric was known for his amazing athletic ability, earning MVP of his baseball and football team his senior year in high school. Eric moved to Florida to pursue his career in sales and eventually settled in Georgia with his lovely wife.
Eric will be remembered for his compassion, his deep love for his family and friends and his undeniable charisma.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arbutus and Rufus Cain, Caroyln and Richard Carpenter and his aunt, Janice Difiore, and is survived by his parents, Eddie and Joy Street; sister, Jennifer (Matthew Wise); nieces, Alexa and Alyssa Wise; nephew, Logan Wise; his beloved dog Maili; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held SATURDAY, Feb. 15th at 11 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) and where friends may call FRIDAY from 5 to 8 p.m. (Swigart-Easterling, 330-854-2356) www.swigarteasterlingfuneralhome.com

I am so shocked and upset to read about this tragedy. I was a mentor and friend of Phan Trieu when she was a resident in Brooklyn NY and I know how happy she was to be married to Eric. Mr & Mrs. Street - I did not know Eric personally. I knew him through Dr. Trieu-Street. As a patient over the past 5 years I shared many stories with her. She loved Eric very much. We can't always understand why things happen the way they do, but I have been so saddened about Eric and Trieu-Street. I saw her on the day before this happened and she seemed as happy as usual. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family, Eddie and Joy, in this time of tragic loss. Eric brought such a sweet smile, kindness, and compassion to my mother, Agnes, during the last family reunion. Mama spoke highly of his sweetness as she was able mingle and chat with him. I'm grateful Eric brought his lovely wife to the reunion in Ohio to meet his family. May Eric rest in peace and may his family always have fond memories.

From a long time friend of Eric, we were workout buddies, co-employees, roommates and football buddies; I will miss Eric greatly. Sorry, I will not be able to attend the calling but my prayers and my love goes out to the family. May God use the death of Eric Street to change a life.

My deepest sympathies to the Street Family. Eric was a wonderful person and a natural leader. I will never forget in the 5th grade him coming to school with his freshly cut flat top hair cut with a Nike Swoosh shaved in the back the next day all the boys showed up with the exact same hair cut.

Street was so far ahead of his time. He taught me so much as a young boy to young man. He was everyone's best friend. He had your back no matter what the situation was. There wasn't a group of friends where he didn't belong. He is a stud! I know he is in a better place with his wife now. Knowing him as a young boy and man was a privilege and a honor. Thank you God for letting him be a part of my life. Definitely will never forget you Street!
