Carol Sapp
NORTON -- With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Carol Sapp, 71, on Tuesday, April 15, 2014.
She was a mother of three and a mother to us all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Sapp; her mother and father, Wanda and Andrew "Short" Callihan and her nephew, David.
Mom loved us, cared for us, worried for us, but most importantly, she carried us. Now we must carry her in our stories, our memories and in our hearts. We are comforted in the fact that we cannot let her go unless we hold her there. She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
Carol loved sharing time with her nearby family, keeping up with those further away on her tablet computer and playing cards with her lady friends.
Carol was loved and will be missed by her son, Andy (Joanne) Sapp; daughters, Judy (Brian) Czarnecki and Renee (Jeff) Starr; grandchildren, Josh (Heidi), Adam (Heather), Jamie (Nick), Joey, Paige and Eden; great-grandchildren, Ronnie, Roman and baby-to-be; sisters, Tammy (Kevin) Erwin and Linda Parks; nieces and nephew, Jennifer (Adam), Justin (Brittney) and Katie (Leigh); great-niece and nephew, Madi and Brayden; along with other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, 3:30 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, with Fr. Robert Jackson officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure: P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Texas 75265-0309.

Renee, Judy, Andy and family:
May the peace which comes from the many wonderful memories of your mom and of the love you shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead. May the actions and kind words of others be a source of strength for you during this very difficult time. Lean on your family and friends for support . . . they will carry you through. What a pleasure it was to get to know your mom over the years as our neighbor. She leaves behind a wonderful family to carry on her legacy. Sorry we will miss calling hours/funeral - we will be out of town. God Bless you all.
