Frances Keys Obituary
Frances Rose Keys, 61, passed away on October 13, 2013.
Fran had worked as a nurse for the past 40 years. She enjoyed decorating for and celebrating the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas, shopping, gardening, and socializing with her friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Ellen Nucciarone. She is survived by daughters, April Keys (Rocco Crone) and Laura Keys; siblings, Toni Nucciarone, Mike (Virginia) Nucciarone, Mary (Vince) Militano, Michelle Kane (Drew Belfiore), Kathy (Dan) Bales, Kris (Randy) Norris, and Tina (Mike) Greger-son.
Special thanks to Crossroads Hospice, Amanda Pratt, and other family and friends for their care and support during Frances' illness.
Calling hours will be Friday, 5 to 8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, at 12 p.m., with Pastor Jim Roma officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ALS Association, 6155 Rockside Rd., Independence, OH 44131. Fran was one in a million. I will never forget her laughter, the nurse who taught me so much in the beginning, the friend. I have no doubt Margaret met her with a pot of coffee and a deck of cards. To Fran's family, bless you all for the love and care you gave her. It's a gift and time you will always cherish.

To My Family:
Fran is so much better off now than any of us. She is with her Lord, mom, dad and all of her loved ones. I have no doubt they are all up in heaven getting ready to string cotton for your dad's awesome Christmas display with real angels and Jesus Himself there....how awesome would that be! Remember and hang on to the great memories, as there are so many, and I know they are all smiling down on us this day. May God give you all the peace that only He can give. God's speed Frances Rose! You will always be in my heart. I love you!
