Dave was one of those special people that when you meet him you instantly like him - he was good people as they say and he will be sadly missed.
Deepest sympathy to the entire Eyssen family who I consider to be my extended family also. Found out too late of Dave's untimely passing to attend and honor him. Dave was a gift and I will truly miss his great hugs and smiling face. Always had a kind thing to say about everything. Worked alongside Dave for 25 great years at Mapleside and still remember his smiling face this summer in Medina. He will truly be missed.
I'm eating a snickers bar today... I know they're your favorite. I miss you every day, and we'll see you again soon!
I got to know Dave when I joined the Convention Bureau board. He always made me laugh - his good humor filled any room he entered. We are all somehow less without him. Blessings for peace to his family.
I read with shock of the passing of this dear man.Over the years, when going to Maple Side, I was always impressed with how friendly Mr. Eyssen (Bill) was. You could go there once a year and walk in the door and he always had that smile and welcomed you like an old friend, made you feel special. Dave, his son, now will be missed. He was the very same way...you walked in and he would catch your eye and always speak and smile, like you were old friends. I am awestruck that he has passed so young. Rest in peace, our dear friend. God bless your precious soul.
Dave was a great guy. We used to talk about how much fun we had growing up in Brunswick. My dad used to take him home after sports practices and we'd see Dave's dad putting on the roof at Mapleside. He will be missed.
Words are difficult to find when someone as special as David Eyssen has left to be with God....David was a faithful, caring servant of God, a gentle caring person. David was a great friend to my mother, Julie Engel. I know he truly loved her. David gave her the greatest gift, his time. We are grateful that he touched our lives. May his memory be a light in your hearts.
Our deepest sympathy, Patti and Randy Stineman
My deepest sympathy to Sherri and the Eyssen family. I know my friend is with The Lord. His heart was pure and genuine. His caring spirit will never be forgotten. Memories of working Sunday mornings with David, how he loved his coffee. Of recent, I enjoyed bringing him Auntie Anne pretzels..
I will miss his soft voice and warm hugs...I will miss my friend.
Julie Engel, friend of the Mapleside family.
Our deepest sympathy to all of Dave's family. Tom & Claudia Beeching & Chris & Derin Lazuta
I was my privilege to work with Dave and Bill, Sr. at Mapleside.
My deepest sympathies to all.
My Deepest Sympathy goes out to the Family. He was such a wonderful man, he has touched so many lives, he will be missed. May your hearts be filled with special memories.
Sorry for your loss. Dave lives on in the hearts and minds of many others.
Dear Eyssen Family,

My deepest sympathy to the Eyssen family on the loss of Dave, he truly will be missed. He touched many people in so many ways, I am confident God has a special place ready for him.
My prayers are with each of you...
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope that you find some comfort knowing that he is with you - always. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. ?
It is with deepest heartfelt sympathy for you that I write this. However, the person whose memory captured the heart and made the deepest imprint in your life Sherry, is abiding with our Lord and Savior. What Joy! But here, he will surely be missed. Some people come into our lives and leave an impression, but the impression leaves when they do. But Dave, imprinted on our lives. All those things big and small, will never leave us or you, and we will always carry him with us for that reason. The person you shared your life with will always be a part of you by all the things he did that imprinted on you and your life. Those are the things that will keep you and he together until you meet again. My family and I feel blessed to have known Dave. All praise goes to Jesus Christ Himself. He is our Lord and Savior, our counselor, our comforter and our soon coming King.Thank you Jesus.
As the days and weeks pass, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
You were a shining light walking into any room. My condolences to your family in this saddest of times. You have reached your reward that you so deserve. You now have walked freely into the light. God bless you. It was a gift to know you.
My deepest sympathy to the whole Eyssen Family.
Our prayers go out to Dave's family and friends. He will be missed by all that have known him.It has been sometime that I had the pleasure to talk with him and he will be missed.
Rest in peace big brother. The way I feel today, I now realize a huge part of Dad has left us once again. You had so much in common with him. From day one you were built in the mold of Apple Bill. Your brothers and I all knew that. Gentle, compassionate, spiritual and kind. You are with him now. You were always a rock during difficult times. You committed and sacrificed everything to Mapleside and carrying on the legacy. Your passion for the family, employees and customers was amazing. We read testimony to that today. For so many customers it just won't be the same without you there. Same can be said for family and friends. Your sense of humor was unmatched and you changed lives. I'm glad my kids had the opportunity to work by your side and learn your values. You have left a clear example for all who remain in how to approach our personal lives. May God bless you.
