Mr. Eddie taught me to love people. He knew everyone had a story to tell and he wanted to hear them all!
He was a very important father-figure during my formative years and I really needed that. Our trip to Alaska remains a highlight of my life. As teenaged girls, Pam and I were often embarrassed by his antics when they happened, but looking back, I appreciate them so much. He had a way of making everybody feel important and loved. What an amazing legacy.
Thank you for loving me, Mr. Eddie. I wouldn't be the woman, mother, friend, daughter, or pastor I am today without your influence in my life!
