Bill and Pat,
Thanks for contacting me regarding the death of Pat's dad. His passing must have been a terrible event for you and Pat because of the close bond that you had with Mr. Chaney, especially over the years that he came to live in your home. I know it must have been a tremendous amount of work for Pat but she knows that she did everything in her power to make her father's last years as pleasant, happy and safe as possible. And Bill, I know that what you did was a loving and charitable act to make Pat's life happier. I'm sure if you could have spent time talking man to man to Mr. Chaney, he would have told you guys how much he loved and appreciated everything that you did for him.
He certainly was a heroic and brave man, the kind you don't see many like today. I know that when I met him once at TGI, I was in awe of him. God rest his soul.
Personally,I admire you both for the love you showed this man during the last years of his life.
We appreciate you trusting us with the care of your loved one at this difficult time.
